GetTested’s Herpes Test is used for the qualitative detection of antibodies against Herpes Simplex Virus types 1 and 2 in blood samples. The test can indicate previous exposure or an ongoing infection. Results can be read within approximately 15 minutes.

The test does not differentiate between HSV-1 and HSV-2. A positive result indicates the presence of antibodies to either type.
