Organic acid Test

The Organic acids test is a comprehensive test that measures 25 different markers. The test can be taken to detect the underlying causes of chronic diseases and is especially good for people who are tired, burnt out or have low energy. Organic acids can be used to identify various nutritional deficiencies, gastrointestinal disorders and much more. The results of the test can be used to improve energy, sleep, mental health, concentration and attention problems and digestive problems.

By analyzing organic acids, one can get an overview of the use of nutrients that are ingested through food as well as their conversion to energy (ATP). This conversion is performed using enzymes and their cofactors. If these cofactors are missing or if the enzymes do not work optimally, it can lead to the accumulation of certain substances. The concentration of these substances makes it possible to read what deficiencies in vitamins and minerals may be present. In addition, metabolic products of neurotransmitters in the urine may indicate disturbances in the stress hormone balance and dysbiosis markers may reflect a bacterial imbalance in the intestine.

As the sample is taken via urine, it is a test that is also suitable for children.

What is measured in the organic acids test?

The test measures the following markers:

How the test is performed

The test is a simple urine sample that you collect yourself at home in the morning from your morning urine. The sample is then sent to the lab for analysis and you will receive your answer digitally.

You take the test yourself at home through a simple urine sample. The urine should be collected from your second morning urine. The second morning urine means the second time you urinate after getting up in the morning. Remember not to drink more than 1 liter in the evening before you take your test (menstruating women should remember NOT to take the test during menstruation).

Your sample is then sent to our lab for analysis and you will receive your answer digitally as soon as the lab has analyzed your sample.

  1. Make a purchase on the website and pay with Swish or card (Visa, AMEX or Mastercard). Easy and safe.

  2.  A test kit is sent to the address you enter when ordering. After your order, we will send home a test kit with instructions. It also comes with a stamped envelope that is mailed to us. It is recommended to send in your sample on a Monday or Tuesday.

  3. Carry out the test according to the instructions included in your test kit and on the web. Our Support can also answer all possible questions, before and after submissions and results.

  4. Send the test kit to our ISO certified lab and wait for results digitally. You will normally receive an answer within 15 working days after our lab has received your sample.
