Is the Gluten intolerance test the same gluten intoelrance that is measured as in the Food intolerance tests 40, 80 or 240?

No, the Gluten intolerance test is not the same as the gluten intolerance measurement included in the Food Intolerance tests 40, 80, or 240. Celiac disease, which is often associated with gluten intolerance, is an autoimmune condition where the body produces IgA/IgG antibodies against gluten and a human enzyme called tissue Transglutaminase (tTG). The diagnosis of celiac disease is comprehensive and may include a biopsy. Positive results for antibodies against tTG are a significant indicator of celiac disease. On the other hand, IgG4 antibodies against gluten, which are typically measured in food intolerance tests, do not indicate celiac disease. These antibodies show an immunological reaction to a particular food, like gluten, but not an autoimmune reaction. Elevated IgG4 levels for a specific food, combined with symptoms, can suggest a food sensitivity. This can be a starting point for an elimination diet to see if the symptoms improve, but it's not a definitive indicator of celiac disease.
